Movie Collector Pro is a movie database to catalog your collection of DVDs, DivX files, VHS tapes, etc. Adding movies to the database is quick and easy - no typing needed. Just type the movie title and it will automatically download all information from various sources on the Internet (IMDb and DVD Empire), including the cover image. After adding your movies, the resulting database can be browsed, sorted and searched in various ways. Movie lists can be printed and exported to HTML, CSV files or XML. Use the integrated Loan Manager to track which movies you loaned and to whom.

Once you have added a number of DVDs to the inventory, you can view it on the main screen of the program. It is possible to show a simple list of all movies, but you can also organize your collection by producer or by genre, using the automatic folder feature. Or use the Images View to browse the covers of your DVDs (displayed in the screenshot on the right).

All lists can be sorted instantly, just by clicking the list column headers or by using the Sort Order screen. You can sort on any field, e.g. alphabetically on title or studio, or ordered by release date or purchase date. Use the Quick Search feature to find all movies that contain the word you type, or use the Advanced Filter command to search in specific fields, even multiple fields at once.
